For Bob Burnquist and the 75 foot high ramp he built to be the largest skateboard ramp in the world, the sky is the limit. Bob built this mega ramp on his property just East of Oceanside, CA.

The Underwater Sculpture Park is the work of sculptor Jason Taylor from England, who has a passion for creating fantastic and unique pieces of work depicting Grenada’s colourful history and folklore and placing them underwater. All of the sculptures are in beautiful clear shallow water easily accessible by divers and snorkelers. The sculptures end up creating artificial reefs, and enhancing the marine environment.
The response from visitors diving the site has been reported as nothing short of amazement and fascination on the whole concept.

DAYUM, I am terribly saddened by the news of the passing of Elizabeth Edwards. She finally lost her battle with cancer. :( But was a REMARKABLE WOMAN!! She truly was #RIP Elizabeth Edwards...... Such a strong woman♥, may she find it in her heart/soul to Rest in Peace!!
Let your blue lights shine for law enforcement during the holidays
For the past 22 years, Concerns of Police Survivors has asked law enforcement families, surviving families, and police supporters to put a blue light in their windows during the holiday season. The blue light is symbolic of our remembrance of those officers who have made the supreme sacrifice and honors those officers who continue to work the violent streets of our nation.
The idea began in 1988 when Mrs. Dolly Craig wrote to C.O.P.S. that she would be putting two blue candles in her living room window that holiday season. One for her son-in-law, Daniel Gleason, who had been killed in the line of duty while serving the Philadelphia (PA) Police Department on June 5, 1986, and one for her daughter and Danny's wife, Pam, who had been killed in an automobile accident in August 1988. Danny and Pam had six children. Dolly Craig is now deceased as well, but the idea is her legacy. Project Blue Light now burns bright in the hearts of the nearly 15,000 surviving families of America's fallen law enforcement officers during the holiday season.
"Everyone who appreciates law enforcement should get involved with Project Blue Light," said Linda Gregory, C.O.P.S. National President. "Project Blue Light allows citizens to show support for local law enforcement and the heroes who have been killed in the line of duty."
Project Blue Light is a simple gesture; during the holidays decorate with blue lights or simply insert a single blue bulb in the candle stick replicas that adorn many windows in homes or businesses. C.O.P.S. also encourages law enforcement agencies to decorate the precinct stations and headquarters in blue lights.
The color blue is symbolic of peace. By displaying blue lights in your holiday decorations, you will be sending a dual message-that you support America's peacekeepers and that you hope the coming year will be a year of peace.

The numbers around child slavery and exploitation are simply staggering, and there aren't enough people fighting back.
More than 150 million children younger than 14 years-old are child laborers-- one in six children in the world. Those children do hazardous work in mines or on farms, often handling chemicals and pesticides or working near dangerous machinery. Others toil as domestic servants in homes or workshops.
Another 300,000 children under 18 are child soldiers used as combatants, messengers, porters, cooks, or sexual servants in some 30 conflicts worldwide. They are most often forcibly recruited or abducted, or feel so helpless and overwhelmed by poverty they are driven to join the fight.
Girls are particularly vulnerable. Some as young as 13 are trafficked as "mail-order brides." Nearly 90% of domestic workers trafficked in West and Central Africa are girls.
It's an epidemic that isn't getting enough attention from governments worldwide -- and Change.org members can help change that.
